The Master of Science in Global Retailing at the University of Houston offers dynamic opportunities that:

·      Create successful leaders to impact retailing in the global marketplace.

·      Apply multi-cultural consumer behavior, retail analytics, and financial models to dynamic worldwide retail environments.

·      Shape visionaries for a proactive retail workforce abounding with excellent placement opportunities.

·      Engage with executives-n-residence in a stimulating, media rich learning environment to develop skills in strategic planning in order to launch retail firms in a variety of international countries.

Global Retailing students are challenged to network with major retail firms and with exciting speakers at special events and in the classroom. Students engage in exploring practices, government regulations, consumer preferences, and all the challenges of entering their markets with US companies. Students are invited to participate in workshops and events to meet with retail companies for permanent positions. The program provides students with opportunities to develop excellent skills in critical thinking, financial analysis, cultural understanding, strategic planning, and retail management perspectives at a global level.

The 30 or 36 hour program uniquely prepares innovative, agile retail marketers to successfully propel their careers and emerge as leaders of businesses throughout the global marketplace.
