The Master of Science in Hospitality and Retail Management degree is designed for students with either a bachelor's degree in hospitality or retail management. In RHIM 5300, hospitality students participate in two undergraduate courses, Introduction to Hospitality Management (RHIM 2210) and a second course in an area of interest for hospitality emphasis. Or for students who prefer a retail emphasis and have not completed an undergraduate degree in retail management, will participate in Retail Buying and Control (RTL 3380) and Retail Category Management (RTL 4320). Leveling coursework is in addition to the 34 hours of M.S. graduation course requirements.

While the Master of Science in Hospitality and Retail Management degree is generalist in nature, students may choose one of the following options:

Students completing the professional option will complete an exit project before graduating.
